WordPress

WordPress is a free content management system, that was originally created as a blog publishing system, but has since then started supporting other types of content creating and sharing, for example portfolios and forums.

For our studies, we are using the site to share our school works in a blog form, writing posts about either what we’ve just learned in class or for the steps taken during customer works and work days at internships.

WordPress is a great option for site hosting, because despite it being mostly free, it gives you both very free hands with how you want your site to look like, but also offers you ready made Themes and ideas for easy and fast starting. It also has a big library of different widgets and add-ons you can easily put on your site, like Spotify player or a calendar, depending on what you need.
